This year is going way too quickly for my liking!

I have had such a super busy week doing a number of cool things. Yet, this has resulted in me being extremely drained - I honestly cannot wait for a holiday.

U-Dance

Along with my amazing dance group at school, Goop! (odd name I know), I took part in U-Dance 2015. It was such an amazing day jam packed with laughter and the caving of food. Last year I was unable to go as I was on holiday with my family - I am so happy that I got to go this year!

Despite my shoulder failing to perform once again and popping when we were in the middle of a workshop with another group, (old post about going to A&E here) it was an amazing experience.


5SOS Meetup

If you are unaware and haven't been following my blog for a long time, I have a love for bands and music. One in particular being 5 seconds of summer. Yesterday, along with my two close friends Shivani and Rhianna, we attended a 5SOS Fan Meetup. It was held in Hyde Park in London. We had a really fun time and I met some really sweet people when there.

It was another moment where I stepped out of my comfort zone - talking and joking around with strangers. Moments like these are things to keep in mind. Apart from dropping the top bun of my BigMac, it was quite a good day.

Starting Year 10 was like running straight into a brick wall. 

Honestly, it has been difficult. The realization that, I actually have to get my act together and work solidly for at least the next 4 years of my life, hit me like a truck. Now, of course this doesn't mean that I'm not going to go out and mess around... pfffsstt that would be boring. It just means that I have taken on so many new responsibilities over the last few months. The things teachers drill into you in the summer term of Year 9 - 'We are getting you ready for Year 10', 'If you don't give in your essay about acid rain, you won't be able to get an A* in Science'... all of that is crap. Honestly it is hard however it is a learning curve and fun.

I have just come home from 'Parent Consultations Evening' or to you and me, a time where you awkwardly meet eyes with your teacher, politely laugh your way through the conversations and wish that you were in bed sleeping; none of which is at all fun. After dreading going, knowing that I had failed a number of recent mock exams, I managed to survive - just. It is extremely clear that the subjects I enjoy, I am doing very well in e.g. Dance, English and History (getting a B in my mock exam when I hadn't revised nor thought that I would get anywhere near a E let alone a B).

What I learnt from this evening is to never doubt yourself. Yes, I can do a hundred times better but that doesn't mean that for now this isn't good. It's just the first strep.

School does annoy the hell out of me and I am always wanting to go home and sleep but at the end of the day, I will miss high school.

I'm aiming high because if I fail... I will fall fast. I will get that fuzzy feeling you get when you are on a drop ride and then when I'm getting off at the bottom, I will want to get straight back on and try again. Life is about getting back on that ride. You have to know that you will drop at times but the view at the top is stunning.

Dancing like nobody is watching is an extremely strong moto of mine. I take it into my life. I don't dance to impress people. I dance beacuse it makes me happy - just like the things in my life. I do everything with the thought that it's what makes me happy. I wasn't born to impress anyone, I was born to be myself and smile every second of the way.

Jack's gap Jack's gap 5 minutes of your life that you won't get back Nooo..!

Recently my love for Jack and Finn Harries has grown making me unable to stop rewatching their old videos. Unfortunately Jack and Finn have not made a video in about 3 months :( Leaving me feel a bit let down.... Until this morning when I awoke to find a new video on my subscription feed. 

Haha reading back this sounds like a fan girl post! Am I am fan girl?? I guess I am! But the main reason I am a fan girl for Jacksgap is because they inspire me to later become a film maker on youtube, travel the world, raise money for charity and meet amazing people. All in all even though Jack and Finn may forever be hassled by screaming girls but they will always stand out for me as incredible film makers!

In one of my earlier posts I mentioned my love for youtube and that has certainly never stopped!! Soon I will be writing an updated post with my favorite youtubers mentioned as they have changed and to keep you up to date however for now as I sit in the back seat of my family car coming back from an amazing weekend in Dorset... I must say Finn Finn is the better twin ;)

Hello, from a very wet and miserable London!

Today's post that comes to you today is about my GCSE options and general thoughts about my future.

If you don't know;GCSEs are British qualificantions that you take at the end of high school (Yr 11 or aged 15/16). At my school you pick 3 different subjects that you like to sudy for the last 2 years of school, along side the main subjects: Mathmatics, English, Double Science, Philosophy and Ethics, PSCHEE and P.E. This week I will have to do the very dawnting task of picking my options and pertentially making a lot of pathways for my future.

I am thinking of taking: 

History                      or              Geography

Dance                       or              Sports Science

Photography              or              Buisness Studies

The main point is that it doesn't matter what your friends take, what your parents say if you want to do it... DO IT! You will always be good at the things that you love. You only live once... use that to drive you to be the best you can be and believe in your dreams!
